OUR STORY
Created by a family who needed it, too.
Our mom has always been fiercely independent. She managed her diabetes entirely on her own and was determined to keep it that way. She didn’t want us monitoring her glucose levels through an app, and she certainly didn’t want anyone telling her how to manage her diabetes.
That changed when she had a stroke at age 85.
After a week in the hospital and a rehabilitation center, she returned home confident she could resume using her insulin pump independently. But the stroke had changed what she could remember. She no longer knew how to order supplies, change a cartridge or replace a sensor. What had once been routine became one crisis after another.
As her daughters, we suddenly had to learn how the pump worked, which supplies were needed, where to order them, which required prescriptions and when everything needed to be replaced. At the same time, we were trying to keep one another informed and make sure nothing important was missed.
We created My Diabetes Circle to give our family one shared place to organize it all—to track supplies, coordinate care and help our parents feel safe and supported without taking away their dignity.
This app began with our family’s story. We hope it can make your own diabetes journey—or your family’s—a little easier, too.
Your circle. Their care. Better together.
